Facility Site ID #: 42128291

The site owner conducted soil and groundwater investigations on the site found in 1997 and 2005. Levels of BTEX(benzene, toluene, ethylbenzene and xylene), MTBE, gasoline, diesel and heavy oil-range petroleum hydrocarbon were found at concentrations above Washington state cleanup levels.

The Department of Ecology is asking for comments on a new proposed agreement to study the site for cleanup. Blaine Mini Mar is one of several located on the waterfront that will be studied for cleanup under the state’s Puget Sound Initiative
